Become a supervisor, manager or human resources professional in a variety of roles like, recruitment and retention, labour relations, employment law, compensation and benefits, employee training and more. The Human Resources Management Post-Diploma consists of 12, 3-credit courses, including a capstone project or management practicum, both options give you the opportunity to apply and synthesize theoretical concepts learned during coursework. There are two intakes per year, and courses are spread over four semesters allowing students a more manageable course load. Classes are delivered in a “workshop style”, scheduled in three hour blocks of time, allowing more interaction between you and the instructors. This program, accredited by the Charted Professionals in Human Resources of British Columbia and Yukon (CPHR), gives CNC graduates the opportunity to be awarded a passing status of the National Knowledge Exam.
